Dome Light issue?
Here is my problem I had Last nite. Will continue this again on weekend.
My dome light isn't dimming off after I lock my doors just stay ON. Well let start by telling everybody i have installed LED under the door handles I had it on for most 1 year now with no problem. About month ago 1 of my LED went out so I had to replace it an that was just 2 simple wires.(positive an negative wire) Well after installed new Led light I notice that my LEDs don't dim anymore It just go ON/OFF with the opening an closing of the doors. So next i check my dome light an it just stay ON with the door ALL closed. I can used the [on] an [off] switch but went i leave it in middle it just stay on. I pull of out fuse an check it an nothing wrong with the fuse an I check dome bulb.
I thinking if I fix this dome light issue them my LED will started to dimm again. Any Suggestion

I would check to make sure that there aren't any exposed wires on the bulb you just replaced. Wrap it up in electrical tape if you can.
When i did my door handle LED's i figured i would just tap into the positive wire going to the dome light and run it over to the door handle and ground it out after the bulb. Turns out when i did that, my door handle lights faded on while my dome faded out and were on constantly. Basically did the opposite of the dome. Kinda weird how things get affected sometimes.

He what I did last Friday nite
I recheck that new LED i installed (nothing wrong). Check all my wiring (Look Good)
Next I unplug all my LEDs light an Still the Dome still stay ON will all doors close?
NOW I know i have Dome Light issue. I also bought new dome bulb an it did the same thing.
Now I'm going have to spend more time on weekend to figure this out

It's gotta be something that controls the fade. Something like a relay that might be shorted out. Hope you find it. I'm not sure what else it could be.
