Does anybody have or know anybody who has this setup?

Comptech springs in the front and H&R's in the back? This is to keep the "even" look and not the rake. Does anybody know if this is okay and safe?

Thanks,
CBS

Well first you have to figure out who has the right numbers.

Comptech springs / H&R sport springs

From their sites:

Comptech:
About 1.25" lower in front
and 1" lower in the rear.

H&R sport:
1.75 1.5

From autocarparts:

Comptech:
front/rear
1.75/1.5

H&R sport:
front/rear
1.75/1.75

When springs are installed, it's not acurate to how low they settle. So it won't settle to 1.5 exact all the time. I don't know the range but I'm sure it could be from 1.40 to 1.60 on a claim 1.5 lowering.

Another factor is that the front and the back do not have the same gap. Sometimes the right from the left don't have the same exact gap.

In my opinion it's not worth to do what you want to do. but if you do it, there shouldn't be any safety issues.

Another things is that they sell as a 4 springs package. I don't know how hard would it be to just by 2 from either brand. Option buy them used?

I've got Comptech springs and I don't think I have the rake look. Here is a picture, this is before I put my stereo box in the trunk.

I got my springs used form BAhncl. They are Neuspeed Sport Springs. I have a perfect level drop . But My front springs are cut. Looks nice but sacrifice is the ride quality. If you want them let me know.
