I have a 99 Acura TL. I just had the alternator changed and now the battery fuse keeps blowing. I checked the battery a and its good. I changed the ground wire to the battery. I did a basic 12 volt shortage check and it shows there is a short but it's not attached to a fuse. Not sure what it could be

You're gonna need to track down that short. We can't help you unfortunately over the Internet. The technology just isn't there yet. There's definitely a short, check all your cables and grounds especially around the alternator.

somewhere in the cars wiring system, the + rail is connected to the - rail.

check around the alternator wiring as that was just worked on. Check the alternator in case its shorted out

If you're blowing the 125A main fuse, I'd suspect the alternator. Try this. With the battery disconnected, remove the big wire from the alternator. (the one with that's held on by a nut) Make sure this wire can't touch any metal. Insulate it with tape or a shop rag or whatever. Put in a new fuse, and reconnect the battery. If it didn't blow, the short is in the alternator. If it does blow, you've probably got a wire that's chafed between the fuse and the alternator.

the battery neg cable has been found to let the cable loose inside its connector to the frame under battery box tray

Wiggle the wire and you get intermittent contact- maybe enough to blow a fuse!
