Engine Ignition Problem

Hi guys,

Please refer to the following video:
.

My 2001 Acura TL started experiencing a problem with starting the engine. The car has 175,000 miles on it. The transmission and timing belt was replaced last year. The battery is fine. To get the car to start, I would either jiggle the keys or shift the gear stick a couple of times. 8/10 times, starting the car is no problem. In the morning it starts a little rougher. 2/10 times it would not start unless I messed around with it. Has anyone had a similar problem or has any suggestions on what to do?

Thanks!

I bought the car over two years ago and I do not know how old the battery is. I brought it to an AutoZone a year ago to test the battery after it died on me once. The employee said it was fine.

I have a FM Transmitter which also reads the battery level when you turn on the car. It always have at least 9V of battery. When I start the car up it jumps to 14.2V. I noticed that when I keep the FM transmitter plugged it, it drains the battery slightly.

I just went to AutoZone to check up my battery and you were right, it was bad. Luckily, I had warranty on the battery(it was only two years old) and had it replaced for free.

Thank you so much for answering this question and my other question!
