Desert TL to Midwest TL?

I live in Indy and am considering an '02 P that has been in Arizona its whole life. Would there be any risk regarding the different climate in a 17-ish year old car? Seals (the main thing I'm concerned about), trim, electronics, etc? I'm thinking about getting it because of the lack of corrosion but don't want to risk introducing a desert car to the salt and cold if it'll cause problems. I know this isn't an exact science but some opinions would be super helpful. Thanks!

Hey I'm also in Indy

No I can't imagine why the climate change would cause any issues .. I just got my second 03 TLS from Nashville a few weeks ago Rust free.
Would sure be a shame to expose one from Arizona to the atrocious amount of salt they put on the roads around here.

If be happy to help ya in person should you ever need it!

I think you're overthinking things

If it were the reverse, i'd understand the concern but i think you're going to be okay.

Oh, he is. Sounds like something I'd do though.. Wish he'd reply.. Love to find a dedicated TL enthusiast in Indy.

Sorry fellas, was on my honeymoon. Figured I was braining myself out over this but wanted to get some outside opinions. I'm probably not getting the car anyhow since it's pretty overpriced ($5600 with 104k).

You can always try and negotiate; $4,000 might be a fair price; $4,500 tops.
