cylinder 1 and 4 misfiring???

Greetings.

My brother's 99TL was in a front end accident recently. It has since been "repaired". But, no his engine light and TCS light come on pretty much each trip he drives. I checked the trouble code and it says that cylinder 1 and 4 are both misfiring.

It has 125K miles on it without ever changing the plugs. I changed the plugs, reset the computer, but the car still runs rough. Also, the CEL came back on, indicating that cylinders 1 and 4 are still misfiring. Could the ignition coils have been damaged in the accident? Please let me know any ideas. Thanks.

Aaron

FALSE ALARM!! Stupid me...I forgot to plug ONE of the ignition coils back in to the sparkplug wiring. Hooked it back up, reset the ECU, and the car runs like a dream now.
