Cooling system not working

Hi all, I have a 2003 Acura TL. My car seems to over heat when it sits in park for say 20 minutes. As soon as I start accelerating it starts to cool down.when I checked under hood I realized that both fans aren't working and when I pulled out the small outlet tube that goes from radiator to reserve tank there's no anti freeze come out. Both fuses of condenser and cooling fans are good. The car never over heats while moving only when sitting for awhile. Any ideas where to start/test and how. I did check the thermostat in hot water about two months ago in hot water and was ok. When should both fans kick on? Thank you

Sounds like the fan relays have failed or the ECT sensor

Check the fan relays and the Fan Switches..
There should be a Check Engine code somewhere.

Sorry just to clarify, my pass side fan works( I think that's the condenser fan) but driver side( radiator fan) fan doesn't come on.

So I switched relays from working condenser to cooling fans and the cooling fan didn't work. So it's not the relay. What is the ecs sensor and where is it?thank you

Jump power to the fan to make sure the fan is not dead.

You guys are correct, it's a dead fan motor I presume. I hooked up battery power and ground to 2pconnector from Cooling fan motor and it did not work. So I can say that its definitely the cooling fan motor that is the problem correct? Thanks for all the help its been huge....I wouldn't be able to fix my car of it weren't for this site and you guys replying I really appriaaye it

Any issues with buying a after market fan motor or used? I have 150,000 miles and hoping to keep it for awhile. Think part was 160$ and rather not have to spend that much.

But he just said, he jumped the fan itself and it didn't start.. Doesn't sound like the switch is the problem

I wish I had a decent junk yard around me, I'm on Long Island and I have small one by me but it sucks... Thanks for the link to rock auto....and yes it's the fan motor... All you do is jumper the 2pconnector coming from motor. B is positive and a is negative for anyone who reads this and needs to check there fan motor.very easy also check fuses and relays.thanks guys

sidenote: If your drive side fan is not running when it should, THEN runs for 10 minutes after engine shutdown
= you have a bad Fan Sensor A located on radiator
