C32A JDM Tranny???

A local shop is selling a JDM engine and tranny from a Honda Inspire 2001-2003, supposedly its stamped as a C32A engine with only 16k miles. I just wanted to know if these JDM C32A engines and tranny's will fit in the US Acura TL. I want to put in into my 2000 TL because my pistons are slapping and I really cant take the noise anymore.

Also do these JDM Inspire's also have tranny issues or are they of a different design??? heres a pic:

Make sure its a J32 and not a C32, the C series is completely different and incompatible.

Thats what I thought the C-series is used in the RL's and is a C35.
The guy confirmed over the phone that it was infact a C32A from a Honda Inspire Type-S.

You can actually see the stamp in the second picture. It looks like it's a J, but it's definitely not a C.

If its the trans from the motor pictured its the same and not for a C series. The C series WONT work on our motors, and if it is truly a JDM motor trans its the same as ours, issues and all.

That's a j series. It's identical to the American version. Issues and all. I wouldn't be surprised if that engine is from a regular tl and not an inspire. The inspire says honda on the plastic and has a 2.5 engine

C32B is the NSX

C32A was the Legend and 1st gen 3.2 TL engine

And before anyone asks, they aren't compatible.
