I am very close to ordering a 2001 TL in the Toronto area, and I wanted to compare my price with what other Canadians are being quoted.

So far the Automobile Protection Agency's broker seems to have the best price at $35,510 (including PDI, AirTax, Fuel Tax, & Admin fee) + GST/PST - roughly $1700 off of MSRP. I also checked with two Acura dealers, and they didn't seem interested in dealing on price at all.

I was wondering how this compares with what other Canadian's are seeing. Let me know your experiences.

Hi,

the dealer invoice is $33120. the PDI and Feight is $850, the air conditional tax is $100, the fuel tax is $75. Admin is BULL.

the markup for honda/acura car is 8%, so the the dealer cost for the TL is $34145.

once advice, don't get anything though into the car(eg. spoiler, mug guards, floor matts, etc...) u can always get them afterward at the service and parts department. It much cheaper because the sale department charge alot more. For example, when i buy the cls, i got the spoiler comes with the car and they charge me $895, however, i found out that if u get the spoiler at the service and part , its only $699 installed! Remember to ask them to give u few maintence schedule for 18K and 24K. 6K and 12K is already free.

so personally, i think u should pay no more than $35200 which gives them $1000 profit. But still, $35500 is a great deal and u can get the car and save the time shopping around.
