the bosch 4 tips have a place in certain engines
BUT the TL is not one of them!!!
the TL has a coil on plug super high energy ignition system that requires a single super fine wire, not massive clumps of metal
stock was ngk Platinum (gen2) and in gen3 they got Iridium
SO gen2 can safely use NGK Iridium or NGK Iridium IX (supposed to be racier)

note the ONLY approved brands are Denso which cost more and last way fewer miles,
or NGK which came in the car from the factory--its one of the few parts they do use the best for,,need them to get good mileage~
yes some have tried the bosch and swapped back to ngk after poor running

iridium is a better metal, thats why acura switched and many gen2s are using with no problems
the regular is supposed to last 100k miles-but a smart person replaces them about 60-70kmiles
The IX are supposed to last 50, and I dont mind changing the plugs every 2-3 years to have max performance from them

be the test pilot for us!
Make sure they have a super fine single wire setup same as stock
some of their web info is incorrect and doesnt specify a lot of details besides knocking everything else

based on the greying of the plug and the crud buildup between center and side electrode, I would suggest a seafoam treatment and replace the plugs, Sir~
(actually grey plug means using too much fuel cleaner)

welcome to the forum, --- but this thread is old and mostly dead
yes the ngk lazer plats are ok to use BUT we don't need them for the extra $
the NGK Iridium or NGK Iridium IX are the preferred plugs
please go to the new member thread at top of thread list and introduce yourself!
