I have an annoying rattle that may/may not be coming from one of the two front windshield defroster vent grills (the two long ones at the base of the windshield). Neither the shop manual or parts diagram is any useful for seeing how to remove these.

Has anyone ever removed these? Are they just clipped in? Any special technique?

They're held in with clips. Theyre just a pain to get to like almost everything else.
