maybe a loose sloshing connectors behind the reading light compartment, or your mounting garage remote.

I lost a screw in the sunglass flip down compartment that drove me nuts until I replaced it.

I have the same problem with my mirror. The cover for where the mirror hold onto the windshield could be loose. That's the problem with mine, I just need to glue it or something so it doesn't move.

Our cars develop a number of different rattles as they get older. I have a disgustingly annoying one in my dash between the climate controls and glovebox area. I already put some padding and what not around the harness area to prevent them from rattling around in the cold over bumps. It only helps so much though. Does seem to be as big of an issue when things warm up.

Hopefully you can narrow down your rattling issue.

every car does to one point or another (and it's not so much age at times, but rather mileage, and road conditions; basically how much parts have vibrated and worn away mounting pads and such)

LMFAO, them staying quiet, they seem to develop more rattles at times, but bout the only thing i could say is that they got stiff bodies, so things do not flex as much

ck the diy on rear view mirror replacement
its held on by a slide on mount to the glass with a retainer clip,, holding the mirror steady
That may have gotten loose over the years from adjusting for different drivers or
the plastic case has been known to break

Time for the mirror warning- these have a tendancy to fail and the auto tinting fluid inside escapes--sometimes forms an oval in center of the mirror, or more common is bubbles on the edge- along with failure of the auto tint feature itself

used to be warranty swap with the maker- but no longer
You can get a complete replacement with new better stuff inside thru one of our dealer sponsors for about 75 bucks = retail is 150

the old mirror is HAZMAT!!!!!
if you see the bubbles or oval - place a large ziplock bag around mirror and tape in place to keep stuff from splattering the interior of the car- really bad news- there is an entire thread titled rearview mirror exploded!

One person even thought is was spilt soda and licked their sunglasses to clean it off
That resulted in an Emergency Room visit and severe stomach probs
May have been the same person who got settlement cash from the maker too~ in exchange for not disclosing the ingredients in the mirror

Have someone drive nthe car over a bumpy road while you check stuff out. Ever had an acura/honda tech go for a ride with you? At least they'll have a list of potential issues to look for. I can't see them charging you to have a tech go for a ride with you. If it bothers you as bad as as our 3 gens rear deck rattle fro, the seat belt, you'll take it in...lol.

The honda megadealer in town does... A##H####...
I forget, swearing is discouraged right?

I've never gone there, but called for prices. They sound so cheerful on the phone, but have jacked up prices and then say, oh, "that will be 60$".

I had the rattle from the sunglass holder. I had a terrible time trying to find the source because it sounded like it was coming from the passenger side of the car. Open sunglass holder and tighten the two screws, see if that helps.

Check out the place where the dash foam meets the defroster vent port thing.
I push that down from time to time.

My exhaust makes a vibration in that spot at certain RPM's...
Just sharing, as it sounds like its coming from elsewhere but its the windshield defroster molding...

well, im back.

I have a different vibration that started lately that only happens when going over bumps/rougher roads.

it sounds like its coming from the passenger area.
It could possibly be the glove box rattling...
I've remembered that the side mirror can rattle...
could anyone help me with that by expanding whats goes on with that as i cant seem to find concrete evidence with searches. The funny thing is that the P side mirror feels solidly on there.
