air bag recall
Anyone hear about the air bag pressure part recall for 2002 and 2003? Had email from dealer but no letter from Acura yet. Doesn't look like an emergency but it has to be done at some point. Another recall. Never had so many recalls in a car previously.

I got my notice from Acura in the mail last week. They ordered the part after I contacted them and said they will schedule the repair when the part arrives.

everyone needs to be registered with customer care

they send the notices by snail mail to last known owner
Recalls are safety issues- important to get fixed right away
Its FREE and they try to give loaner cars
besides the trans oil jet kit, The other recall for timing belt pulley was a major bonus, saves hundreds on the 105 service, do it early- pay for the water pump and they do the rest free! score~

has anybody replaced the opds sensor and opds unit out of warranty? The dealer quote was F***ING EXPENSIVE!
i bought my tl used and no clue about this recall till i hit 159,000 and the srs light came on.. the dealer wont cover it under warranty since it ends at 10yr/150k miles

acura dealer quote was a lil over 900
honda dealer quote was a lil over 800
and just to buy the parts from the acura dealer it was about 700-750
i wasn't able to find any DIYs has anybody replaced the opds sensor and unit on their own.... not even my personal mechanic wanted to deal with this prob
