you're gonna need one of these

http://cgi.ebay.com/BHA1721-Acura-CL...d=p3286.c0.m14

so you can connect the wiring harness that came with that deck to connect with stock factory radio plug.

check Audio section to learn how to wire up stock sub to new headunit.

Obviously these were soldered and taped.

If you have two sub-out jacks on your HU, connect both RCA cables to the same wires. Some people have mentioned that you can choose either the left or the right and use only one RCA cable, but I don't recommend that.

RCA cable soldered and taped and ready to attach.

Finally, you'll need to get radio-switched power to the factory sub amp. On the wiring harness that I received (from Crutchfield), this was an orange wire. I connected the power antenna lead from my head unit to this wire. This energizes the sub amp any time the radio is on. Don't forget this connection or the sub amp won't work.

My final results. Before adding the component speakers, anyway. And no I don't listen to Pink . That's a scrolling display. It's Pink Floyd.

Good luck,

I'm replacing my broken stock player with a new Alpine I ordered from Crutchfield, it came with the installation kit (repaces the plastic face of the old unit) and a wiring harness. I just need to hook up the sub to the new unit as the new wiring harness might not work the sub. All you need to know is here. I used a search for "Aftermarket stereo"

Good luck!

for one, you dont have a wiring harness on the back of that stereo, a wiring harness is the wires that plugs into the back of the stereo, then you would need another wiring harness from the car to the stereo. Then you need to remove it and you need to get a single din bracket. If you dont know how to do it, I would say have a shop install it cause if you have never installed a stereo before, I wouldnt touch it. For someone who installed stereos before, I would say this is a very easy install on the TL, for a first timer, very difficult.

Blitzsafe FTW! And no headaches on install. Plus more tunes and cheaper than a new cd player.

You can buy a new harness and contact Uncald4, a forum vendor. You can send him your harness and he will wire it up so that it is plug-and-play. It's not cheap but it's a hell of a lot easier and Travis (Uncald4) is a good guy who really knows his stuff.

even if he sends him all the wires to do, if he is the first timer, it will take him a long ass time to take everything apart, I say just pay some local dude and do them. I just switched my stereo again last weekend and did it hella quick, but then again, half the screws are not bolted on anymore. PS, just got back from Orange county, damn driving down there is so fun, Oregon drivers/cops are lame as fack.

ok, to simplify things, your stereo has a wiring harness attached to it, which can be taken off. This harness plugs into the plug of your stock stereo. Now you just cant plug it directly into the stock plug unless you cut your stock wires to tap into it, so instead of doing this, you need the aftermarket wiring harness. So your stock would plug into an after market harness and the after market to the stereo.

JJashaa, yea didnt think about hitting up some acurazine boys. I passed by some sick ass cars, I also drove by Autotoyz and pulled in, we dont have anything like that in oregon. That place is huge. But I did pick up a few bags of beef jerky from Vua bo kho, soooo damn good.

So you have this radio but nothing else? Why do i suspect its stolen?

If not BEFORE any thing else you need the harness that goes with the radio. THen you need the harness that connects your new aftermarket radio to the stock radio harness.
