Actual model of this TL?

I recently purchased this 99 from a friend at work. My question is exactly what body style is this? It looks sportier than the standard models, yet I can't find anything that says it's a so-and-so version. For help in finding odd parts for the body trim, it might help if I knew.

Thank you Much
Cecil

Hi! I believe that is the aspec kit attached to the body of a regular 1999 TL.
the aspec kit was a OEM offered body kit.

Thank you. I see it online now. Much appreciated

Looks nice! I used to work with a guy who had a '99 TL with the body kit, and it was what made me decide to buy a TL (I got a 2002) and I added the body kit right after I bought it. I've had it for about 11 years now. IMO, the TL looks pretty plain without the kit.

hehe. Bought mine new in 02 with 50 miles on her with the kit and spoiler. STILL love the car. There's just something about the nose of these cars that the newer cars have lost.

Even tho I have a 3rd gen, you can say that about it too. I love how both the 2nd gen and 3rd gen have symmetry that comes down to a point in the middle.

I love the lines in profile. They curve around just right for me, not rounded like a turtle the way many new cars look. And frankly, it's just fun to drive. I'm new to them. I purchased a couple of weeks ago and since I also ride motorcycles I know all of the really good roads in eastern Tennessee and northwestern North Carolina. So I spent two days driving it on them. At the end of the day Sunday I had about 400 miles of twisting mountain roads under me and really felt I'd made a good start in understanding how it handles. It took the roads beautifully.
