Acceleration problem

The problem just started and the problem is when I accelerate the car hesitate at about 4000 RPM and if I accelerate slow it will run pass 4000 RPM and thats the same thing that happens if the car is in park and I rev it fast or slow its like its misfiring so I check each coil one at a time and the idle dropped each time I also check the video on cleaning the EGR but it was for a 99TL any suggestions also no CEL Thanks

I notice now if the car runs for a while the problem gets worse and it starts to idle rough and will shut off and hard to start then after its sit it will start back up but will hesitate at 4000 RPM and will get worse after it runs for a while. I counted the CEL and comes up 71 72 73 75 76 all misfire

did you check your spark plugs? Maybe even the wires connecting to the coils?

hey 02 have you looked under your hood recently? we dont have spark plug wires! not since the 90s

The diy for 99 egr cleaning works for all gen2TL, there are now 6 ports- one per cylinder to clean, and the main passage thru the inside of the intake casting,
3 cans of carb cleaner and a wire coat hanger--- to poke and soak and poke and soak
Clogged egr will mess things up bad
If you have not performed this service and have over 150kmiles - you should have done it twice already!

spark plugs NGK ONLY replace every 60-100kmiles
SEAFOAM in the gas at 2 oz per gal of fuel thru 15 gallons, will restore clean to the fuel and combustion systems
