3 bearings at the end of axle

2002 tl-s. Does anyone know if there is a part number for these bearings or if I have to buy the whole piece to get the bearings? I only need 1.

Honda & Acura only sell the joint end with the bearing so you are looking at 300 bucks piece! For that price you are better down to get the entire new CV..
Part number for the Brand New CV:

Right: 44305-S0K-C11 = 350 bucks
Right Inner joint end price = 309 bucks.
Left: 44306-S0K-C11 = 210 bucks
Left Inner joint end price = 309 bucks

And you don´t wanna mess with Aftermarket CVs as per Acurazine Member experiences they often fail sooner than the OEM.

Thanks for an answer. Dang! Haha figures though. I think first I am going to try pulling one from a scrap yard or possibly ask local shops to see if they have any recently pulled axles I could snag one off of. I pulled one off of a 2000 tl yesterday but they are completely different than my 02. I have also heard to not mess around with aftermarket axle parts for these as they always have issues.

Yes aftermarket might fail slightly faster but my $ 60 amazon axles are still going strong after 7 years of replacing with the bad oem axles. For the extremely high price of oem its not worth it to me.

Also all 1999-2003 TL axles should cross fit with each other. Not sure why you thought the 2000 was different.

^^ agree, 2000-2003 all have the same axles. Music, You've had better luck than me, when I tried aftermarket it was a horror show. Bad fitment and vibrated like a mofo. I brought them back and still had the same issues with the second set.

Willis, It's possible the one's you pulled off the junker were aftermarket. The the easiest way to tell OEM vs aftermarket is if there is a rubber dampener on the shaft. OEM will have a rubber vibration dampener like this one:

Actually guys, the axles are not the same. If you check the service manual there is a different diagram for the entire assembly between '99-01 and '02-03, and further, in the '99-01 diagram, the bearings on the inner joint are specified as different for the '99-00 models. I would guess, by looking at the diagram, that '99-00 models have one style of bearing and '01-'03 have another.

The axles as complete pieces are interchangeable but the individual components are not between all years.

Musiclevel. I did not "think" anything. I pulled the bearings out of the 2000 compared them to my 2002 and they are (like I said before) completely different. Maybe the shafts and fitment are the same. The bearings on the joint are NOT the same. I don't need an axle I need the bearings

Skirmich gave you all the information you need. As I recommend too I would buy a new unit. Doesnt make sense to buy a bearing end.

Spent $1 at the scrap yard, pocketed the bearings. Cars driving as it should.
