2nd Gen TypeS Manual Transmissions
Hi All,

I have a '07MT TL TypeS, been looking for a 2nd generation Type S with a manual tranny. I seem not to be able to find any. Did Acura make them and if so does anyone know where they are?

5spd (4spd for 99's) tiptronic is the only tranny available stock for the 2g, i'm in the works of a 6spd type s swap though

Only manual transmission for the 2nd gen TL/CL is from a CL type S, 2003 only.

If you want a 6pd UA5 TL you need to swap the 04 TL tranny or the 03 CL tranny.

Also you need to get a 6SPD ECU.

theres a lot more involved than just of that, but yah thats the general idea. also 07+ TL trannies work.
