2500 Mile Road Trip Review
A week ago, I drove my 99 TL with 110K on it from Atlanta to Toronto and back. I will tell you guys something. This damned car NEVER ceases to amaze me. I've driven plenty of S-class and 7 Series BMWs, even an LS430 from ATL to Orlando several times, and my back always hurts. I drove straight from ATL to Toronto on the way up there, and my back NEVER hurt once!!!! I was worried about my car, as most of you know I was in a bad accident last fall, 13K worth of damage to it. I also replaced a head gasket in January, and what not. Anyways, the car never gave me an ounce of trouble. Out of every single car I've driven, I wouldn't want anything else but my TL. I really never understood how great of a car it is, and I wouldn't trade it for anything, except a new one!!! Anyways, I do have one concern. On the way up there, the car was running about 2400 RPMs at about 80-84. Now it ranges from 2700-2800 at about 80-81. Is there a reason why the RPMs went up? I did notice my maintenence light flashing when I got back, but I just cut it off. What kind of tune up does it need? I cant afford to do all what Acura wants to do to it, so I'm open for suggestions. Anyways, I am driving it back up there in 2 weeks. I'm transferring to University of Toronto, so I'll be joining the other GTA TLers!
BTW - someone with an SSM tl, I think an 02-03, with the Ontario plate L84D8 cut me off! and then proceeded to do 95MPH in the 80KPH zone on the express lanes of the 401.... anyone on here?????

RPMs
If you have the 5 speed AT, the increase in RPMs could be the result of either of the following: You may have forgotten that you were in sport shift mode and had left it in 4th gear. Or you may have been in 5th but not in the lock up mode.

They sure are!!! I had a shitty day today... and as soon as I got in my car, everything changed! I know this sounds stupid, but between my cat and my car, my sanity has been saved time and time again!!!!
