I have a 2003 Acura TL Type-S

There is some wiring under the glove box that has a short to what I'm assuming is the blower motor. If the cord is in the right position the heat/ac will blow but I am constantly having to play with it to make it work. I am wondering what needs replaced. I do not know very much about cars.

It's a known issue with our cars. Search the 2G forum and you'll find tons of info how to easily fix.

FWIW: The search feature on this forum is your friend. Numerous posts, dealing with 2G blower motor issues, detail the problem areas, "ie" burned, damaged connectors, etc. A google search, will also reveal many articles, regarding 2G blower motor operation problems. From your description, it appears, that the harness, where it connects at the motor, may well be the problem. If it is the connector, the harness itself, needs to be repaired, or replaced. If you are at all handy, it is not a difficult repair. If you are not handy, or simply not comfortable working on your car, any competent shop can do it for you.
