How's it going guys, so today I decided to pull my spark plugs on my 2003 Acura TL which has 150,000 miles. I bought the car with 80,000 or 90000 miles...I've never replaced them cause I'm a idiot. When I took them out, they seemed to me like something wasn't right with them. I honestly don't know much about cars and motors but when I replace my outboard motors they seem to look a lot different. Do you see any issues with the spark plugs in the picture? Also I noticed they had denso plugs which I think Acura has ngks from the factory. Is that correct? Thank you

Replace with NGK Iridiums.

Denso's are no good with these cars, don't worry about the picture, it's already

Well without seeing the pictures, assuming the car was running before you pulled them and they're not dripping oil, you're fine. Go ahead and replace them with OEM plugs. I put in brand new cheaper Denso plugs when I first bought the car 4-5 months ago and the idle was rough and gas mileage was a bit worse. The same day I replaced them with OEM NGK's, it ran like butter. Its an obvious difference.

This is one of the three spark plugs I removed. They all looked the same. Any issues with this plug?
​​​​​​​I recently hit 150,000 miles and checked my spark plugs. I only checked the front 3 spark plugs and the previous owner must've replaced them before I bought the car with 80000 miles.. I know they switched them because they are denso"s. Anyways the check engine light came on two days ago with codes showing p0303, p1399, p0306, p1399 and p0300. All misfire codes with pointing out the number cylinder misfire. Could I've put them back in a incorrect way to set off the check engine light. It's just funny how a few days after I messed with them the light came on. What causes misfires and what should I do? Thank you

NGK Iridium > Denso.

To answer your question, if that's the worst looking spark plug of the 3 you pulled, your motor is running just fine. If I had to be super picky, the white deposits on the tip and electrode mean you're running a bit lean so maybe run better gas or try a different gas station. Always use at least 91 octane, you'll notice better gas mileage too. But nothing to worry about, that spark plug looks healthy minus the fact its not the right kind.
