2000 TL Brake light and battery light

recently my brake light and battery light both come on simultaneously on my dashboard and I can’t figure out why

any ideas??

Are they still on?

The brake light on the dashboard usually indicates you're low on brake fluid. This typically happens when your brakes are worn or you have a leak.

As for the battery light, you should describe the conditions when they came on. We're you driving, coasting, accelerating, braking, etc.
