whole car weighs 3500lb.
1.5 ton = 3000lb

So yeah, lifting the nose should no problemo. You don't even need the front wheels completely off the ground for lock to lock, just take some weight off them. In fact, if you are on concrete you can drive the front wheels onto some pieces of cardboard, they will act as skid plates.

Put 2 pieces, one on top of the other, and place them under the tires.

I would put at least 3 pcs of cardboard since the Acura is FWD so all the weight is up front (Unless you plan to do this in a NSX)

If You are placing jack in front or back ( not i middle ) then wont be more than 500kg.... You are not lifting whole car...
I am using home depot 2000kg jack which is more than enough

so dont worry You are fine to lift even hummer.

Technically dont even need to lift the car to bleed power steering Not sure what it actually does for you. Not like your gonna be doing this for hours.

You lift the front wheels so it doesn't stress the pump and rack when it's dry.
