Have an av6 in the 03 tls - are there any filters I should be replacing when doing the 3x3 flush?
Is it a must to get new washers for the 2 plugs and find some type of device that measures the fluid drained?

The filter that the AV6 uses is an internal replaceable type.. In a ironic way our original trans has a more friendly spin-off design which makes it easier to replace but the internal design on the AV6 is still easy to remove and cheaper once you get the hang of it, you will change it in no time.
Here is the DIY for it:

I think any paper filter will work regardless of brand? depends on your budget I guess but I don't think the OEM filter will be that expensive anyway. And yes when looking for the filter you have to look for the Accord V6 2006-2007 Trans.

When it comes to filters aftermarket is fine. There's a significant price difference between oem vs aftermarket. Ie. Tl trans filter oem vs aftermarket... $35 vs $20.
The filter you have to use would depend on which filter system you retained during your swap.

Inspect the filler and drain plug washers- I would be more concerned about the drain plug leaking than the filler!
Rare would be the incident rate of leakage by washer
Never hurts to have drain washer on hand, same for engine oil change- keep a genuine Honda washer in stock and use a real Honda/acura drain plug, not some bs from the parts store that eventually causes thread problems (don't ask)
Use an old 1 gallon oil jug- they have a level/quantity viewing slit with markings. After draining pour into the jug and read!
When doing a 3x3 with 5 minute drive between drains- figure 3 out and 3 in, on the last refill do 3 then let it cool and ck level
drive and reck level next day
Use the new drain plug washers on the last fill
