well i dont' know if the advices the people gave you work.. but i just took mine off...
i used a rubber spatchula (miss spelled sorry) and a little thinner... i sprayed the thinner on the acura let it sit for a 2 sec and used my rubber spatchula and took the acura off. then used compound and towel to clean the acura stain... all gone no stain on the paint.
done deal..

well, that's another way to go.... but the "-" b/w SH-AWD is pretty flimzzy and prying it off might snap it..... I guess if you decide to debadge you won't care how they come off..... but I'm sure you can sell the badges to someone or make a key chain out of it:P..... sigh.... young crowd.... just to think not long ago we are all part of that crowd

Debadging started in Europe with cars that looked similar but the cars were different in many ways, especially price. E.G. The BMW 318, 325, 328 etc looked very similar but the power was significantly different so If you bought a 318 then you debadged it so that people thought that you bought a real BMW. If you bought a 330 then you would debadge it because if people did not know what you had under the hood therefore they were sceptical about "taking you on". In Europe the company cars was the status of where you were in the company so a debadge eliminated the snobbery.
This applied to many brands, not just BMW and as to what there is to hide on an RL is a bit beyond me because there is only one RL and they are all the same. I assume that most RL owners are proud of their choice and dont mind the badge but maybe if you debadge it some folks will think that it is a TL?
