Valve Noise 3.7 ltr in the am
 

Good afternoon all

Just bought a 2009 RL 3.7 engine. Took ownership yesterday. Car has only 40,000certified miles. To my surprise, as I starded the car this am valve noise appeared, to disappear when engine hot around 5 mnts/
Previous owner said that at the dealer shop claimed it was usual for this engine and not to worry. Any ideas on how to correct this??

At 40 000 miles? Hmmm..

The maintenance minder lists a valve adjustment at a certain mileage... I was under the impression it's after the timing belt interval.

But did you check/evaluate the car with a third party mechanic? This could be a simple valve adjustment, or something else. But I'm no expert.
