Okay, I searched and found a LONG thread, but I am still confused. It is my understanding that the J35a8 manifold is the reason why this engine gets the best HP of the J35 bunch and why people seek to replace theirs with a J35a8. Also, that thread was all about the magnesium J37 manifold. Where does the J32 play in? Is the dream here to be able to use headers? Do we really think a downgraded manifold with upgraded headers is worth anything?
Am I completely off base and confusing one part with another? (I am admittedly better with electronics than engines.)

I joined this forum just to convince you not to. I am dying to see your build finished!
A few grams of piston weight variance (difference in weight of piston) isn't usually a big issue(problem). But one piston at 598 and one at 518 is a very big difference. I would have your shop call email Wiseco and ask them if it is normal.
