Tranny/rear diff/transfer case/engine oil/suspension all in one day

Peace of mind never felt so good
Sup fellas....I gotta say, I'm exhausted. Today I decided to do big maintenance on my 2007 rl. It all started with a 3x3 tranny oil change, that led to changing my transfer fluid, and rear differential fluid. And to top it all off I decided to do oil change...since I would have to change be next week anyway. This all at 60k miles.
Whole I was finishing with the oil change the UPS truck shows up with my new H&R spring....I couldn't resist but to put me on! Had some questions tho

1)Transfer case fluid:after draining the old fluid I inspected my the oil and it had little shaving in the oil...sparkled a little and was wondering if its normal?

2)H&R springs: I love it! Gotta say anyone who has a few extra dollars should do this mod! Handling has improved by a lot plus over all look!
Question-now that its lower my rear wheels look slightly more cambered than the front and wondering if there is a way to change that, also need to go do alignment tomorrow and was wondering if that would help straighten the camber back out a little? Food for thought

3)now all I need to to readjust my headlight and I should be set for a while

PS: did all this work by my lonesome. I feel accomplished today

Nice. How did you access the tranny fill plug? Fuse box is in the way

I used 2 extensions on and a pivot joint between the 2 to get a good angle. Ones I broke it loose I wiggled my hand in there and took out the bolt. Pretty simple really. Only thing is make sure you let your car cool down before shoving your hand down there. So after every time I refilled the fluid, I drove around fr about 10 miles, let its sit for a little before the next drain.
No need to remove the fuse box

It might be easier if you eliminate the seccond(black) extension shown in the pic and just use a longer socket.

Go to your local autozone or napa and you can purchase a pivot joint and extensions. Very cheap. I'm a hands on DIY type a guy so I have all tools necessary to basically take a car apart and put it back together

The fuse box is easy to release. Once that is done, a straight 12" extension and funnel are all you need, but the pivot obviously will work too.

OP, did you make sure to hit all 5 gears and lock the torque converter in 5th between fills?

What do you mean lock the torque converter in 5th? All I did was drive the car around and made sure I went through all the gears

As you accelerate, the torque converter is unlocked, and the fly wheel spins faster than the driveshaft resulting in some loss of power. In 5th gear when acceleration is over or very minimal, the torque converter locks and both the fly wheel and driveshaft spin at the same rate transferring 100% of the power & yielding in better MPG while cruising.

You can tell the difference best in manual mode when you know you aren't shifting out of 5th. You can fluctuate the RPMs ~1000 by locking and unlocking the converter. It almost feels like an overdrive.

If you hit fifth and cruised for a while without letting it downshift, it would have locked.
