^^ If you know your way around a few basic tools and can follow directions meticulously then yes it was a very easy install.

Car is going get tinted soon, once that's done we might drop it on A-spec suspension.

He is more than happy with the A-spec 18" since he drives almost 150 a day, I doubt he will opt for bigger wheels.

Oh man, that thing screams for some 22" floaters and a 3" drop! Yeah, and limo-tint!

Even without these necessary improvements, the car sure looks great in the photos. Nice work. I can't wait to see your photo-DIY if you produce one.

Noice job on the body kit.

I should have taken Blazing's advice and put an A-Spec body kit on my RL.....now I can't.

Was there any cutting involved? Particularly for the front valance? The fogs look different.

Do you have any pix of the installation in progress?

the front is a wrap on over kinda deal.... no cutting necessary..... unlike the 07+ type S front underbody spoiler where u have to remove the original lower grill....

How do the front and rear valances mount to the car? Both would cover some "bumper unpleasantries" (from backing into a stump, and curb scrape).

I really like the rear valance, and the front has grown on me.

Not sure about the side sills, though. Would the kit look weird without the side sills, no spoiler, and stock wheels? One would get to keep their splash guards by leaving the stock sills.

Do extend those tail-pipes!

Rob, I think you'd only keep the front splash guards. The rear ones conflict with the rear valance.

What did u cut??? I don't remember any cutting involved in the underbody spoiler installation..... the rocker panel is a direct swap, the front and rear is the wrap on.....

Hello JNC what is live cash back?
Thanks

As far as price, I shopped around and the best price that I was able to get for kit was $1200 shipped. A couple of days ago an acura dealer out of GA posted the rear lip as it was the last piece they had sitting in store inventory, I called to see if they had the whole kit in Celestial silver and they indeed did, I had the parts manager set up a private listing for the kit yesterday for $825 plus $50 shipping, with the buy it now I was able to use Microsoft Live Cashback for 11% and bring the final cost to $785 shipped.

^^ Indeed, it use to be a rebate and as much as 35% around xmas time but these days it fluctuates between low teens to hi teens.

As far as did I cut the bumpers to make the front lip and rear one fit then yes per the instructions.

The lips did indeed cover a bunch of small nicks and scratches that the bumpers had in the past.

I might trade my GS300 for an 06 WDP RL that my local Volvo dealer has, if that trade goes through then I might do the headlights as soon as within the next couple of weeks, otherwise we'd just have to wait till I get a set of headlights through ebay.

If any of you guys can ship your headlights in for the work then I can cut my labor in half for the first set i.e. instead of $150 to clear/black out I can do the first set for $75, PM me if anyone is interested.

I can't ship my headlights cuz I need them to drive with at night, but I would pay 150 dollar rush charge and possible wait, since I'm down the street...

Also, yeah, I don't think PIGS will bother you much for having clear headlights... They don't harrass much unless you're lookin for trouble, IMO...

BTW JnC, replacing or extending those OEM tips??

I have a better idea, I'll call you later today to go over the details. Lets try to achieve the JDM headlight look without shelling out any extra money.
