SLASHED TIRES!! Adjust alarm sensitivity?
So this past weekend, I had all 4 tires slit on my 2005 Acura Rl. I have no clue who it was, but I'd like to be alerted if it happens again. Is there any way to set the alarm to go off if there's a drop in tire pressure? I can't imagine a more cowardly way to fuck with someone and I'd LOVE to say hello to them if it happens again.

This is my first post. I've been actively using this site to fix and adjust my 2005 RL since I upgraded from my 1993 Acura Legend as a graduation /birthday present this past March. Fuse blown for my power outlet? ACURAZINE! Auto sunroof not working? ACURAZINE! As you all know, this is an amazing vehicle. I take care of it meticulously, detailing the interior and exterior in my free time. I've worked very hard too attain something this nice and take pride in keeping it looking sharp. If you guys and gals could help I'd really appreciate it.

Sorry to hear, hmmmm with out the key being on I dont think you could get the TPMS to sound an alarm.
Your best bet is a security camera with night vision that will alert you. or a dog.
both are cheap now a days.

No. There are a million different ways to achieve the result you desire, but none of them come with the car.
If you are looking for someone to get back at, I vote this guy. https://acurazine.com/forums/ramblings-12/first-time-tire-slasher-854252/

Somebody did this near a town where I live. They slashed something like 60 cars! That's a lot of anger. I'm sorry for your loss. At least you have a reason to get those new tires you've been Jonesing for.

Your best bet is to get an aftermarket alarm, which will include a vibration sensor. I don't understand why OEM alarms do not have a vibration sensor since it can't be that expensive. I have a Viper 5940 remote starter/ alarm and it's been solid.

hey guys, sorry for the lack or response. I purchased a camera that watches our cars 24/7 (logitech alert system is awesome fyi). We eventually discovered the individual who did this was actually a friend of mine who is now undergoing mental health evaluation through the courts. He knew where and when my car would be there and how much I loved it. Thankfully he's getting the help he needs and I appreciate all the feedback and advice.
I ended up going with the Contintenals everyone recommended on here and boy are they amazing. They transformed the car in the snow and it's so much quieter now vs the OEM michelins. Again, thanks again.
