RL not testing in Whiplash due to Headrest flaws

I was browsing through cnn, and i saw this article about how poorly some of the highend compact cars, and then browsed through to this section

The institute did not test 24 seats -- among them those in the Buick Regal, Cadillac Seville, Acura RL and Volkswagen Passat -- because it determined the headrests were designed in a way that would not protect taller people.

I hope none of you are "tall" and get rear ended.

Did the study evaluate a '04 or '05 RL? I suspect that the seat and headrest design is different between model years.
