Removal of top speed governor on RL?

I'm pretty sure its in the ECU, not so easy to just "remove"
There is a chance the RL is drag limited at that speed as well, there is not much you can do about that unless you want to change the body panesl

I thought the max speed was set at 147mph. Nevertheless with stock tires, about 120 is all I care for.
Personally I think the tranny and AWD system would fry at more than 130 for any length of time. It would be fun, however, to find a good engine out of a totaled RL and mod it into an old CRX si.
