Maybe I should buy some Enterprise stock before their next announcement.

How the hell? Acura near me told me it would be about another month or so... -___- I'm actually starting to dislike this Charger.. I think I'm about to break this transmission. That 8-speed auto just can't shift as quick as I need it to. Starting to clunk between shifts lol

I thought that Charger had the 9 speed?? I know what you mean. I personally don't care much for Chrysler transmissions. None of their transmission calibration is done in house, it's all done by the transmission suppliers, which is the case of the 9 speed (?) would be ZF transmissions.... I had the 200 at first and let me tell you, you want a jacked up transmission, that thing takes the cake. HANDS. DOWN. Thing is whacked out. No joke. By comparison, the Charger seems tame... I drove that and it was actually tame compared to the 200...

I'm pretty sure they are sending parts quicker to the people who are claiming rentals, just a theory though.

It definitely doesn't have that put you in the seat feel our cars have when you floor it and it takes FOREVER for it to finally gain some speed, it has a horrible torque band, at lower RPM's it just drags it's ass on the pavement until it gets up to around 4000-4500 RPM then it finally starts to pick up. Great sounding engine but personally I love the sound of ours far more. I was considering purchasing a Charger until today, it has a HORRIBLE blind spot on the B pillar.

Yeah... I actually believe our RL is faster than the Charger. It's an 8-speed for sure lol I've banged through the gears with it.

I will contact Honda Motor Europe Finland because official Honda importer site, where you can input win # to check out recalls and updates, does NOT indicate any recalls for my Legend, to my knowledge i have a takada airbag. While ago when i visited dealer for a windshield change i asked about it, they told me that i am "goofy" to ask something like that... Never the less, no brake master cylinder update has been done years ago (mandatory what i know). F**k them...
Legend was a premium car here, 84K € (with our crazy taxes) so i except some attitude towards me....

it depends on ur local laws. but this recall has been mainly in hot areas as its the heat the main culprit. canada being in proximity to everything usa, they probably got the US treatment. But you can go on the NHSB website and get the airbag incidents in northern america and have them replace ur airbag as a consequence.

Well I'll be returning the Charger. I've absolutely had it with this car.
Spoke to Enterprise and they asked what I wanted I told them I'm not paying the damn bill write the bill to Acura. Said give me a damn pickup or SUV. I settled for the 2016 Ford Fusion Titanium XD

Very nice!! I had a 14 Fusion Titanium trim as rental for two months last year when I was in Hawaii. It was a fine ride!! The MPG never got as good as they stated tho... I was averaging 19 mpg on mixed driving.... with AC on all time!

Wonder if the call backs are regional, I'm in the east coast (NJ) and our dealerships have no estimated time.
Side note I have a e46 M3 and they also have a recall on the Takata airbags also. Lets just say the Acura Dealers are a lot more cordial regarding the whole recall. BMW more or less just hang up the phone on you. A simple "We have no idea when the parts will come in " "Click"

^My friend has a Passat and an e90 in their household that were also affected. More or less similar response. I have another friend with an affected Audi Q5. Waiting until the end of the week to see how Audi responds.

Wow...I totally stand corrected the local BMW dealer called me back and said they ARE offering the same program as Acura.

^^^ Yeah pretty much the BMW dealers really not on a need to cater to customers. Usually if your car is outside of 5 years, they couldn't care less.
Curious on what company the dealerships have gone with to replace the Takata airbags.

I'm pretty sure dealers of all affected airbag cars would provide a rental if pressed enough. Otherwise if you were to get killed, they can expect a huge lawsuit. It's undisputed that there is a risk of injury/death here.

Going through same on my m5 way less than helpful other than to say end of summer now from end of spring earlier. Asked about rentals and they pointed me to the dealer who laughed hysterically when I asked the dealer if they have same program as Honda/Acura.

Got my car back about a week ago and boy did I miss my RL or what?!?!
Cherokee was an ok-ish car to get around but there was a reason why RL price was what it was and why Cherokee price is what it is...
In the process my battery was found to be bad before they fixed the airbag issue, so they installed original Acura battery for me (free of charge). That was really neat from Pauly Acura Service Department staff in Highland Park.

Check your terminals and how secure they are, it's possible they didn't secure them tight enough.

Well 1 week in my rental a 2016 Fiat 500x...had 3 choices and figured this was closest thing I'd ever get to driving an Italian car I took it...lets just say I cant wait for my next rental

Well after driving a 16 Hyundai Accent, I finally got a 2016 Chevy Malibu with 2k miles on it.. It's definitely a much better ride than that Accent.. I'm going on six weeks with a rental...
Question: Once the dealer calls you and informs you the replacement parts have arrived, how long does the RL have to sit at the dealer

The airbag itself is not the problem, the inflator which is behind the airbag is what obviously inflates the airbag is what get's replaced.
