Question regarding door frames misalignment

I just noticed that the upper right door panel (the black glossy frame) of front door doesn't aligh properly with the upper left panel of the rear door. The same is true on the passenger side i.e. the upper left corner of the front door doesn't align properly with the upper right rear door. What I am trying to say that the front door panel rests higher then the rear door panel. Here is the picture of the panels I am referring to. Wanted to check with fellow RLers if it is a unique problem with my car only or it is how the car came from the factory.

Would appreciate your feedback.

Thanks.

Mine looks that way.

I noticed it while I was cleaning wax residue from the seams and weatherstripping that surrounds the doorframes.

I have also noticed some RLs where the chrome trim is slightly misaligned from the front door to the rear. This is the trim piece at the base of the window that runs from the side view mirror to the rear of the back door. It is even evident on some of the posters and commercials I have seen.

Look at this commecrcial clip and pause it at the 11 second frame. It is subtle but you can see the chrome is slightly off. It is more obvious on the chrome than the black trim.

darker color makes it less noticeable, but it is there.

Dear TampaRL,

Thanks for your response and the pictures. I can relax now since this is how RL doors are built. I was comparing the finish with my son's E500. The doors on the MB is perfectly alighed and the finish is perfect.

All the best.

I just looked at mine and both sides are spot-on even.
