there is no "Correct price" to pay...as prices differ regionally, from franchise to franchise, etc..

the correct price is free. but doesn't always work like that... so your best bet is to grab multiple quotes from multiple shops/garages/deaerships to find the very best price that YOU would pay.

lol @ justnspace

OP it can be somewhere between $7 - $10 a plug. Again depends on where you are buying them and people recommend NGK on here. You may be able to find them cheaper but you get what you pay for when it comes to vehicles and vehicle maintenance.

Plugs are pretty straight forward not much else can be done at the same time. Unless justnspace disagrees, but it's hard to tell since him and his gang only help people who submit and kiss up asses.

Labor to change the plugs is also not so much, it's a 30 min job really...

Since it's something you use for 125k miles+, and given the price level, it's best to go with the best option. while Bosch is very good, NGK has been getting the most recommendations.

I personally went NGK platinum ! let there be no room for error kinda thingy.

NGK Platinum. It's an relatively easy job that doesn't require a ton of tools. Save the money and do it yourself. There should a DIY tutorial on here somewhere. If not, then check the TL forum for one. Can easily be done in under 1 hour.

Last year I purchased a set of NGK on bay for $30 and replaced the plugs myself per instructions on this forum.

Correct price honestly depends on where you're located. I would say more than 2 hours of labor would be too much, so like 200$ in my area. Plus the cost of parts obviously.

Hmmm, don't know about the engine in the RL, but I've heard many dozens (hundreds?) of other J-Series motors have significant misfire issues with Bosch plugs. Long story short, the only plugs I would ever put in a J-Series motor are either NGK or Denso.

You may be correct. My advice stems from general knowledge not what's good on this particular engine. My Audi had Bosch in it.

It does seem from online resources that NGK irridium may be even slightly better than platinum. But hey...

Like others said, just change em yourself.

It seems unless Bosch is the OEM plug, it is a bad idea to use Bosch plugs in an engine. Funny thing, I've had five VW/Audi cars; only one came with Bosch plugs, the other four had NGKs in them. To date I've never heard of an American or Asian car which ran well with Bosch plugs (I'm sure there are a few out there, just never heard of any).

The correct answer is FREE as my RL previous owner perform 100% 105k service at the dealer.

Any how 6 plugs cost me $60 from Rockauto, it tooks me 30 mins for the plugs replacement. BTW OEM part is NGK, Honda use NGK while Toyota use Denso for ignition system.
