New RL Recall-'05 Air Bag Recall

So it looks like the 2005 RL was added to the recent Takata airbag recall, just as an FYI to owners:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the airbag can be changed without the steering wheel being removed?

Any idea which air bags are affected? Seat, side curtain, steering wheel and dash could be on the list.

The NTSB site only lets you search Hondas at the moment and the Acura site is useless... but Im pretty sure its the ones that shoot you in the face as mentioned above.

I'm almost positive it's the steering wheel airbags as well.

Looks like it's not all of 05. I called to check on mine and they said mine was not affected. Unless they don't have an updated list.

If anyone gets the same feedback, please post here. Just want to make sure that it's not all 05 RLs.

thanks,

-D

I don't see how they have a final list when Acura isn't even on the list yet.

Although I did notice that the NHTSA site split out Honda for driver and passenger.

I was actually reading this morning, they aren't even done testing everything so they aren't sure what's final yet

I have 05 too but it was the 2005.5 which is Prob why I don't have a recall on mine either. It's for the early models I am assuming
