Was thinking about buying 2010 RL

Before I make a decision or my purchase, is there anything I should be looking for in the car, any defects or common issues?

Car info: 2010 RL Tech package(without active cruise control) with 109K. Acura dealership has it and they were the ones to sell this car to a buyer when it was new and tell me that they have all the maintenance records for it.

At that mileage, make sure they show records of the following:
1. Timing and serpentine belt, water pump change
2. Check tires for wear
3. Spark plugs replacement is usually done at 110k
4. I'd assume the front and passenger motor mount are busted and will need to be replaced
5. Shock absorbers should be replaced
6. Ensure oil changes were done every 5-7k, Transfer case and transmission fluid replaced every 30k

Thank You for your input!

I have some info from the dealer...the service area was closed at the time, so I only got carfax for this car at the moment.
1) It shows all maintenance records since the beginning from "15K to 90K" done at that dealership.
2) There were couple of instances where transmission and differential fluid change was mentioned(with 15K intervals), along with air and cabin filter, parking brake adjustment...
3) Additionally at 101K miles, front and rear brake pads were replaced, rotors resurfaced, oil and filter changed. Water pump and timing belt, timing belt tentioner/idler replaced. Don't see entry for serpentine belt
4) At 107K Inspection performed and Alignment done.

I don't know if any of the services would include spark plugs(will ask service dept), but every 15K miles, there was a service indicated in the carfax. I just don't know which service does what, unless carfax would show the list of items.

I drove the car but didn't feel or hear anything from the suspension and it felt firm while cornering with some speed, no vibration from the engine or transmission. Tires were Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 or something like that and I would say at least 50% or more life left.
I guess my to-do list would be to fine out about spark plugs, shocks/struts, engine/transmission mounts and serpentine belt.

It's mirrored here - https://myacura.tistory.com/77

Needs Adobe Flash to play - use Firefox for the least pain :-)

Simple question: how reliable is 2010 Acura RL? Any owner with similar year car can say what issues they faced with the car and at what mileage?

Pretty much what HDRBenjamin told you.

The RL has certain flaws that pop up, but most owners are ok with them given when it comes to engine and tranny, if you care for the car, they will last. SHAWD is without a doubt the best AWD in the market.

The RL burns batteries, every 2 years best to check on it. Sometimes electrical gremlins. There's defects that cause slight water leak into pillars and door handles. But all and all, for the price, it's still a top of the line ride, and your mechanic will often miss you.

There at least two threads on here, one what you like best about the RL and another what you like least. Do an advanced search.

Thanks for the information. I did see a battery replacement on mentioned in the carfax after car was about 2 years old and I thought it is odd.
What about the water leak? Does this happen when doors closed and it is raining outside or when driver opens doors and water drips into?
