L-003: Thinking about the RL? "Must-See" Acura RL Introduction Video!

Check it out, great promo for the RL and very informative to those in the market. This video uses an '05 model, but most of what is mentioned in the video applies to 05+.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the kind words. I like to think that each video has gotten better. They were produced in the following order TL, TSX, RL then the RSX. I actually like the RSX the most. They are all available for download on my site http://satoauto.com/cblog/

If I end up staying with Acura, I hope to create a video for the MDX next, then possibly for the RDX. I also have plans for more Tech Talk videos that feature a specific "Acura Signature Technology" such as VTEC or SH-AWD.

Bob,

I received mail from a member here and unfortunately I deleted it in the filter before I had a chance to download it. Any chance if you're reading you could resend it?

Well Colin, I just finished watching your videos. You did a fantastic job and certainly put the magazines to shame with your in-depth reviews. Two thumbs up!

Very nice video. Enjoyed it a great deal. Very informative. Need some Colins selling cars on the east coast. Usually not impressed with the sales people around here.

I second that one... LOVED the video. It really is selling me on getting one for my wife. I wonder how many of you guys got it for their wife, instead of own it for themselves?

That was a great video. Just a quick question.

How did you get the windows to come down with the remote and can you make the windows go back up?

Thanks a mil!

It is not possible to make the windows go back up with the fob; this is a safety/liability issue, apparently. Euro-spec vehicles have this feature enabled, typically. I'm assuming it's a US regulation...

However, using the keyhole on the door handle, you can make the windows go back up. Just remove the key-insert in your fob, insert in keyhole, twist to lock, and hold.

Me and you both bro, I've been doing a lot of shopping for TLs, but I'm very much leaning towards an RL, which personally will be more bang for my buck.

Thanks for great vid Mr. Sato.

The RL's NAVI is strictly voice and button control as opposed to touch screen like the TL. I haven't used the TL's NAVI but I really like the RL's.

Here's one featuring the 2009 RL Elite. (In Canada there's two types: Base & Elite).
