Interior Light Bulb (Climate, etc.) Burn Outs - Weather Related?

I like many here am suffering the light bulb burn out. I've lost my bulb behind the "auto / dual" and then about two weeks later I lost the bulb on the controls just to the right (recirculate & something else?)

'06 RL

I noticed that both seemed to occur in cold, under or near 20 degree weather.

Wondering if there could be a correlation here. Cold Weather, Bulbs Burning Out.

Perhaps if we simply don't drive the cars in under 30 degree temps, we could extend bulb life.

Any suggestions for other bulbs to change while doing these?

Try to use the search function. A lot of good information there.

I did a search by key word "removal" and found a couple good threads on this topic. Good thing too because the bulb for the defrost buttons went out 3 or 4 weeks ago. Less than $2 at radio shack for a package of two replacements.

I did read the other threads, and I did use the search function. This explains why I knew to start the post with "I like many here am suffering the light bulb burn out"

But none of the other threads mentioned anythinh about a possibly weather / temperature connection.

In that case, I don't think it's temperatue related because I had one burn-out bulb in the climate control and one for the seat heater switch. They are regular incandescent bulbs so they do prone to burn-out.
