Timing Mark Problem

Hi Guys,
I'm in the process of doing the timing belt on a 2005 RL, and I've got a problem. With the crank pully at TDC (white mark), both cam pulley timing marks are about 15 degrees past the marks cast into the back covers........

I've tried "both" TDC's and this is the closest the cam marks come to being alligned. My shop manual on CD is still on it's way from some far away land, so my only source of help is on line. I've found that sometimes that is best!

I'm tempted to just remark, and replace the belt and maintain the same "wrong" allignment, but it's not my first choice.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Just figured it out!!! Turns out that there are two marks on the front cover, one that you CAN see, and one that is hidden. With the key way straight up, and the white mark alligned with the useless pointer that you can't see, the cams line up!

An obvious Acura trick used to get people to go to the dealer for service......They did not get me this time!

Anyone want an '05 RL with a new timing belt? Car will be on Craig's list San Jose as soon as I'm done with the belt.

I would like to see a picture of that hidden timing mark. I am thinking about doing my own timing belt just to save a grand at the dealer.
