I have one and it's excellent.

Feels a bit flimsy but it is of perfect size and strong enough to lift with the bags if you need to reach for spare tire (I already tested that for you).

do it.

It depends on what you want to put in the trunk. If you wish to pick up manure then it's a good idea but if you throw your sports jacket in the trunk then the residue manure would permeate your personal aroma when wearing the jacket. I prefer a clean carpeted trunk and if the car came with a plastic liner instead of carpeting, I would be one of the people complaining about the "cheap" interior of the trunk.

I have this in mine and it is primarily because I didn't want to put my golf shoes on the carpet after playing. Keeps the carpet nice and clean...

I bought one a month ago. IMO it doesnt look cheap at all because it's molded to the exact fit of the trunk. Question is what is the likelyhood of having something spill in the trunk??? That made my mind up for me!!!

I had one in my RL and was happy that it kept the carpeted area from being dirty. Worth the cost IMHO.

If you transport anything that can spill in the trunk, then it's worth it. Mulch, soil, plants, Christmas trees, etc.....everything gets put in the trunk of my car and this trunk tray makes cleaning it up very easy. I can't stand when stuff gets stuck in the carpet, it is so difficult to get out.

This is where working the people at the dealer comes in handy. Take them donuts or something when you go in and spend some time cultivating the relationships. Drop a bug in their ear and tell them that you want one from a trade in or off lease vehicle. Worked for me!

I hang a small spray bottle of fresh water on my net, for whenever I need it. Doesnt fall over, take up ANY room or pull too much on the net. Its out of the way and I get to use small amounts of water for alot of things on the car. Nice to have when you need it.

I use it to wet shammys when fresh water isn't availiable, dampen my rims (for wipe downs) when they are water spotted and whenever I need a quick spray of clean water to dampen small areas that need to be cleaned on the fly.

Mines one of those aftermarket WD40 plastic spray bottles. Cost 3.99 at advanced auto. Its short in size so it fits perfect to hang on the net.
