Help identifying buzzing sound from dash (video)
I have this buzzing sound coming from behind the lower drivers side dash between the steering wheel and the center console. It almost sounds like there's a fan going bad behind that small vent and I can sort of feel air being pulled through when I place my hand over it.
I was thinking it might be part of the automatic climate control where it would suck air through that vent and blow it over a temperature sensor. When I turn the climate control off, the noise continues. It also get louder when the steering wheel is turned.
Below is a video. When I place my hand over the vent, the sound stops, then when I remove it, the buzzing sound returns. Any idea what it might be? I have some time this weekend and might pull the dash apart to investigate.

After reading through the owners manual, it turns out that it is a temperature sensor for the climate control. It's easy to remove. Just slide a plastic spudger behind the left or right side of the bezel and it pops right out.
The red and black wires aren't part of it. I soldered those on so that I could bench test it and figure out a way to shim the fan. It's fixed temporarily, but I'm still going to replace it right away with a new part.
