IMO: To my knowledge, Honda does not recommend the use of ANY fuel additives. It's my OPINION, that continued use of any, TOP TIER rated fuel, should negate the need, for fuel system additives or cleaners. Many Forum members, swear by SEAFOAM. Chris Fix, (Youtube) performs an interesting before, and after Seafoam comparison, using a Honda lawn mower engine, which you may find interesting.

The only treatment I've every seen that has any sort of evidence is Seafoam (Same Chrisfix video), and you can lobby that it's more colloquial evidence. I've used it on lawnmowers and it's helped with rough and hard starts. When I've used it in the intake manifold and gas tank of my cars, I've noticed the cars idle a little smoother for a bit.
