-------------------------------------------------------------------------- https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v509/rets94/o.gif Important Recall Information TSB 10-047: Safety Recall: Master Cylinder May Be Leaking Background A cup seal in the master cylinder is sensitive to the type of brake fluid used in the brake system. If the brake fluid is replaced with anything other than Acura (or Honda) Genuine DOT 3 Brake Fluid, and the brakes are manually bled, the cup seal may twist in its retention groove and create a small leak. The brake fluid can then leak into the brake booster, and the brake system indicator will eventually come on because the brake fluid level is low. If the client continues to drive the vehicle without refilling the brake fluid reservoir, they may notice the brake pedal feels low or spongy. The client should not rely on refilling the brake fluid reservoir to address the problem. A prolonged leak would eventually cause one of the two brake system hydraulic circuits to fail. TSB 07-061: Safety Recall: 2005–08 RL Power Steering Feed Hose Leak Background Prolonged high under-hood temperatures may cause the power steering hose to deteriorate prematurely and may cause the hose to crack and leak power steering oil. Oil leaking onto a hot catalytic converter will generate smoke and possibly lead to an under-hood fire. TSB 07-017: Safety Recall: Fuel Pump Relay May Cause Engine No-Start or Stalling Background A manufacturing fault with the fuel pump relay (PGM-FI Main Relay 2) could cause a coil wire inside the relay to break. If this happens, the fuel pump will not operate and the engine may not start. If the relay fails while driving, the engine may stall without warning and a crash could occur.
