118k on our '07 and rising rapidly with my weekly commute for an out of town contract. It was at 102k when we bought it last June and it only had a few thousand miles until November, then things really kicked into gear. At one point I did up to 1.5k/wk a couple times, but it's not quite that bad now.
The better half sold a '98 Accord last year with 495k that she bought before we got together. Not sure whether the RL will make it that far, but we plan to keep it quite awhile.

Hi Guys,
Newbie here. Picked up an '06 RL with only 28,000 kilometers a few months back in Oakville, Ontario. Currently at 29,935 which converts to approx. 18,604 miles currently.
This car is almost spotless, interior for sure is, but I feel pretty lucky to have found one in this condition and low miles.

When I started this thread I had 20k on it. Now I'm at 32k. I'm hoping to get up to 200k and it looks like it shouldn't be that difficult but it might take me loooong time...lol.

Awesome! It's pretty cool driving around an "old" car in mint condition. Everyone assumes it's new and they get floored when you tell them how old it is.

Bought my 2006 last July with 49k miles (by far the lowest mileage I could find in the midwest). As of today I'm at 55k. My commute is short and I haven't had the chance to take it across the country, but that will come some time this year. I plan on keeping this thing for at least 10 years and hope to break 200k but I do tend to get bored with cars after a couple years.

Sorry to revive a very old thread, but I'm curious how many members have over 300k miles. Does FN P90 still have his?
On a semi-related note, it seems possible almost any car can be taken to extreme mileages with proper maintenance. I had a customer with a 2008 Saturn VUE (3.5 V6) that was at 285,000 miles before I moved workplaces. He was in a couple times a month and did all the flushes every 30,000 miles or less. I'd imagine the RL could do the same feat but with much longer maintenance intervals. Not to mention it would be a much better place to do that many miles in.

260.000miles plus no problems
i only last month heard the shaft bearing noise.2005 acura rl, but due to the harsh winter in ct. other than that it is wonderful car. do the maint and drive her. i went out and bought a ZDX advance now 2 acuras

FN P90 gave his to his nephew to DD a while back with 315k.
If that Vue was a 2007, it had a Honda J35 in it.

It makes me wonder who was buying these cars new. We know their numbers weren't very large, and they were an older and wealther demographic. I wonder if they were a lot of retirees or country-club wives or something, and if a lot of them were leases -- I'm reasonably sure the original owner of mine was the latter with a 3-year lease.

I've worked at Saturn and Chevy dealers and always went out of my way to show them how clean the underbody remains after 200k miles when an engine is engineered properly. In fact, the only leaks I ever recall from the VUEs were from a third-party A/C compressor.

Suburbanites. My Aunt has a mid '90s Jeep Cherokee with 30k miles on it. If she ever changed the tires, it was because someone told her they were too old. The grocery store, post office, bank, and all of her immediate family live within 5 miles. Suburbanites and the grannies who only drive to church are where these cars come from.

I would have to belive that the lower mileage cars would last longer more often, purely from a wear and tear perspective. But when you get into garage queens in Atlanta versus outdoor warriors in Ontario, I think anything is possible.

2006 with 104k. Purchased it new. After getting my shocks replaced and new tires, it runs quiet and smooth and it feels like it's new.
I'm tempted to buy a new car, but after sinking all this dough recently, I'll probably try and drive it at least two more years or more.
Btw, my next car will be a Lexus LS460, at least that's what I want.
