Who has the highest miles in the 2G RL?

Who here has the highest mileage on their RL and what are some problems that you have run into? I'm at 60,000 with no problems so far, but I want to know what to look for down the line..

Member FN P90 have over 1/4 million miles on his 2005 RL.

Based on that durability, my RL should last at least 30 more years!

This is good to know since I plan on buying a 09-10 RL once I graduate college in a few years. I plan on keeping it until it falls apart...or I do haha.

a problemless car does not exist.. otherwise it would be the worlds most successful car company but i've searched high and low, and there doesn't seem to be any major problems that people have.. minus like.. adaptive headlights.. door locks.. and other random small things.

Thank you! Please refrain from calling me a hero until I hit 300K, then feel free. I'm merely a guinea pig for now. Acura should be paying me!

When you hit 300K I am flying to Minnesota and buy you a steak dinner and a pitcher.

I do not think my last 7 vehicles cumulatively had that many miles.

Have you advised Acura CS of your achievement?

How about sending me a ticket, first-class of course, to Tampa? Heck, I'll buy the steak.

I don't know if Acura CS is aware of my achievement. The service manager here thinks I'm leading the pack in the mileage arena.

Well it was 90F here yesterday and I am nursing a sunburn.

Being winters are what they are here and there, that may be the better suggestion. Don't dare me...I have the SKYMILES!

Have you heard of our infamous, every-president-visits (san O) steak house called 'Burns'?

You sir, are ON. Bring it.

I had the great fortune of driving behind a semi-truck that was spilling rocks the size of golf balls: It damaged my hood, quarter panels, headlights, driving lights, and cracked my window, etc. I was able to run the plate, find the owner, and find his insurance company (whom ultimately paid for the repairs). I don't know what the final bill was, but I think it was over 2K.

The latest problem was the passenger door handle sensor. I had replaced it once, it went bad several months ago, then last weekend it started to short out and blew the #7 fuse. I ripped into the door and disconnected the damn thing and the problem was solved.

I think it's a very known problem and I'm done replacing it.

Thanks, man!

Never heard of Burns. I used to date some gold-digging witch/ho who lived in Palm Harbor. She was attracted to people with NSX's and spendy wrist watches. We hung out with some friends at some place called Yborrow(sp)? I cannot remember if that was in Tampa, but it was a pretty crazy crowd!

2 inches of snow in MN today....Tampa is looking better and better....

Well at least your had the ability to run the tag. I would have just shot him. (Can you tell Ken is influencing me poorly? ).

Can you hook me up? I am very close to Palm Harbor. I do not have an NSX, but the RL is the Honda / Acura Flagship and I wear a Rolex Sapphire Submariner!

You were in Ybor City, which is Tampa's Cuban version of Burbon Street. It is a big college kid hang out and party town on weekends. I would not park my RL there unless it was in the bank vault.

91F here again today....and a day on the boat doing paperwork, installing the 46'' LCD (football season) in the main salon and listening to the AC run and run and run.....

oh my 05 RL is about to hit 130k. By far, it had two broken engines mount which i replaced for about 400$ and an alternator for another 200$. But i think those are pretty minor repair and every car need to be fixed in amount of time. Congrat to FN P90! Just one word "Wow"

FN P90 said in a recent thread that he's up to 285k miles and replaced his tranny at 265k miles.

I have 115,000 trouble free and very enjoyable miles on my 07. If someone stole it today, I would buy another one tomorrow. Still enjoy driving it today as much as I did with mile 1.

I have an 05 RL with 237k miles. Still as strong as ever. The only thing I had to replace was my driver's side headlight ignitor and bulb.I am happy to see FN P90 and his accomplishments. Gotta love our RL's.

05 with 185k. Have had to fix front head light, Air condition, couple sets of tires and a few odds and ends but it's been a great car. Looking at another one this weekend.

I got my 06 RL with in December and love it. On average I do 50-60K a year (traveling repair man). I usually go thru a car every 2 years or so. Have 50K on the RL so hopefully it will last me 4 or more...

An October '06 build '07 with just over 32,000 miles. Other than needing two new headlight bulbs, a creaking sunroof and needing a new battery, it's been flawless. Quite honestly, I think it's one of the most underrated cars ever.
