A/C compressor pulley bearing replacement
Hi all, i was wondering if anyone here has replaced the bearing in the ac compressor pulley. My compressor is fine but it's the pulley which sounds bad and has some play in it. So far i tried searching for a pulley (quite expensive for pulley alone on online acura dealers) or the bearing but couldn't find the part no. for bearing. I dont want to replace the the whole compressor because of a bad pulley bearing. I know it's doable without removing the compressor. Any help is appreciated.

most likely you will need to replace the whole compressor as the replacement part will be tedious and still require removal of the compressor and drain/discharge your A/C system.

I am replacing ac pulley too
Not able to find the pulley for sale separately (Out of stock at Rockauto) and the dealer wants $600 for the pulley assembly, I purchased a remanufactured on through EBay for $100. Will keep you posted on how it goes. The bearing in the pulley is a little noisy and I would replace the bearing itself but it is peened into place and seemingly impossible to remove and reinstall.

I bought a rebuilt pulley assembly from EBay. Was ok but in the future I will get the bearing replaced. Cheaper and probably better since the rebuilt pulley was dinged up on the edges and had to be filed smooth.
