Buying My Mom 07 RL
There is a 2007 RL with 110k miles that someone is selling for $8k. Timing belt and maintenance were all performed according to what the seller said. I'm going to drive 3 hours tomorrow to go look at the vehicle and then hopefully drive it down with my brother to give it to my mom next week.
What should we look out for in the RL? Is there anything we should keep an eye on to make sure the vehicle last 5+ more years or make it to 200k+ miles. Do these vehicles make it to 200k+ miles? My TL-S has been extremely dependable and reliable the past few years and I drove it from OKC to Cali after I finished school with no problem. Which is why I want to get this RL for my mom until I finish medical school and can afford to buy her a new car. Once I buy the vehicle, I'm still going to redo all the maintenance service like oil change, 3x3 transmission fluid change, spark plugs, and anything else that might need to be done.
Thanks,
Wesley

FWIW: Looks like a really nice, well maintained car. Hard to beat, for the price. Sounds like your on top of any routine maintenance it may require. That car, should easily attain 200K. I would suggest, just to be safe, that you visit a local Acura, or Honda Dealer, and request a pre-purchase inspection. Cost, is normally around $125.00, and if there is even the slightest issue, they will list it. I would also like to see PROOF, of the stated maintenance, especially, the timing belt service.
