If it is an AK car, maybe it has the AK GPS disk in it? But hard to believe if it's spent its last few years in FL.

Yeah, I guess that this is a possibility. Regardless when I saw the pictures in the original ad I remember it clearly having an actual map on the screen.

Got the windows tinted, went with 5% on the sides and back. Next, I plan to do a single stage paint correction on the car and then find some LED DRL's and tag lights.

My 06 RL has the OEM backup sensors and they consist of 4 color matched dots on the rear bumper. These two black ones look aftermarket to me. If it's working, just go into reverse, and does it beep as you approach an object?

I like how it looks... my favorite color on RL, plus tints are sick

They don't seem to be working, they did at some point I assume but I won't worry about it.

Perhaps you got a female RL and not a male RL and those are it's nipples.

Have you tried sucking on them to see if milk comes out?

Wouldn't they be in the front bumper?

Got my single stage polish done and sealed it with Blackfire Wet Diamond, also cleaned and conditioned the leather/interior panels. Acura/Honda paint is always extremely easy for me to correct, the swirls came out of this thing so easy. From here on out, I pretty much just plan to maintain it weekly with waterless wash + spray wax.

Nice, now remember if it easy to correct meaning it also easier tonput swirl back on. Nice work, did you ever solved the navi issue?

Thanks man.

I agree 100%, believe me I follow all the protocols when it comes to maintaining a swirl free finish. I'll just say this car will never be swirled again under my watch.

Hoping to get it fixed tomorrow, going to the dealer to get some push pins for the rear fenders and I'm just going to address both issues at once. Think I may have knocked the fender pins or clips loose with my polisher or they may have fallen out at some point and I never noticed it. I was riding down the highway today watching my rear fenders move in the wind lol. I'm OCD with my cars so that was really bothering me all day.

Thanks! Yeah that's the goal, your car has amazing paint, I remember looking at it way before I got mines.

What are you guys doing for music in your cars? It sucks not being able to ride around and bump, this thing has no AUX or bluetooth streaming capability and I know most of those FM transmitters are trash.

+1 ^^^

I recently installed it and could not be happier with how they worked it out.
Another thing you can consider is phone capabilities and installing the microphone as well - reason? it has better quality than the factory hands-free, at least in my opinion

Just to update on the navigation situation, they're replacing the nav unit in the trunk, should have it installed next week, pretty happy about that.

On a side note, this car really runs through some gas. I live in the DMV where there is stop and go traffic everywhere but man I was expecting a little better economy. I also own a modded '02 SS Camaro and this car seems like it only does slightly better on gas lol..

Around the city, yes it does

On highway what I find is I get much better MPG if I drop into Manual Mode and leave in 5th gear. Otherwise it loves to downshift up slight inclines. I don't really care if I drop 2-3MPH up a slope and it probably increases MPG on a road trip 2MPG over the long run.

That's definitely not bad, my car goes anywhere from 19-21. This is driving mostly from light to light and in traffic.

Wow, do you have a heavy foot? Maybe I'm not doing so bad then.

I might try that man, that's the only thing that annoys me about this car. Downshifting on even the smallest inclines, reminds me of a 4 cylinder automatic car in that way.

Update: My mic is creating some static that I was not able to find the reason why, so I am leaving it as is... kind of sux but I cannot run after little green gremlins of static

Try to drive in traffic jam with your A/C blast all the time and see for yourself. my AVG MPH is around 22 mph so try that in your RL

That's basically what I do man, I think my average MPH is 29? lol. I live in the DC metro area so there's traffic everywhere.

Still riding around with a blank screen, waiting for this dealership to install my navigation drive, I really don't think it will magically make it display a map by replacing that, I feel like that's a disc issue but hopefully I'm wrong.

I see people around me always gun it when the light turns green so they can race to the next red traffic light. I tend to drive at or slightly under the speed limit so I can coast up to the next red light. By doing this in city driving, I can get 18-20 mpg. It's always amusing to see people behind me change lanes, gun it, and then slam on their brakes at the next traffic light. A few seconds later I roll up to them. I always wonder why they like wasting gas. On the highway, if you keep a steady speed around 65 mph, it does quite well. I think around 25-27 on the highway.

I don't know why I didn't notice your plates earlier, but I too am in MD and still have my original map disk along with one or two update disks. We can probably meet up if we are close enough but I am down in St Mary's County but do go up to Montgomery County pretty often. PM me.
