B136 Service. 3x3 ATF Swap or just drain and fill
Hey all-
I didn't have much luck searching this forum. I did check the garage.
On a 75K mile B136 am I supposed to do a full 3x3 transmission fluid swap or just drain the 3-4 quarts out and refill? I had major transmission work done due to a faulty torque converter at 20K miles or so so the fluid is only 55K miles old so I don't know if I would be at a risk for transmission failure.
Also, is there a writeup anywhere on doing the front transfer case cvhange? I found a nice video on youtube for the rear fluid change years ago.
Thanks!

There is a lot of info on the trams fluid, when to change, how, etc. keep searching. Basically, draining it is not enough, you need 3x3 method. Changing transfer case fluid is no different than rear diffs. Remove fill hole first with 3/8" socket, then remove drain plug.
